Ron Paul was my first step towards conservatism. I was a Democrat my entire life and voted for Obama in 2008 (i was 20). I found out about libertarianism and it clicked with me that I’ve not been a democrat my whole life. I was a libertarian. Voted for Gary Johnson in ‘12 and ‘16 and will cast my first vote for a republican president in ‘20 when I vote for Trump.
I wish President Trump would somehow get Ron to join a committee or help out. I'd love to see him teaching kids abut America and Liberty. Why liberty is important and why it made our country great.
Ron Paul inspired me to be a better human being. He taught me the nuts and bolts of Liberty. I suggest his book 'Liberty: Defined'
Ron Paul is a philosophical leader. Donald Trump is a General that fights and defends. Together it's the most American badassery you can get.
I'm really proud of the work I contributed to the Liberty movement. I feel it paved the way for President Trump. I see alot of the people from the Tea Party here. To be fair, I didn't vote Trump last time. Ironically because I believed the media when I should have known better.
We flipped the house in 2010. Let's flip it again in 2020 and keep our General in Washington defending all of us.
But his labor did help save and restore America - election rigging, media compliance, Mitt and Rove stealing the primary from him - this all paved the way for Trump.
Credit where credit is due. God still loves drunks, children, and the United States of America.
I absolutely love Ron Paul, but he's a very old man now, he did his service, and he's where he's comfortable. I'm good with that and I respect him for it.
We shouldn't just default on the FED and return to treasury issued gold backed notes we should freeze & seize the assets of the FED shareholders.
These PRIVATE individuals have made TRILLIONS loaning our own money back to us at interest.
If it were up to me we'd strip the banking families of everything and drop them off on Skid Row in L.A.. It would be way cheaper than gulags but just as fun.
Audit? How about abolish? Why should an independent board of 7 unelected governors decide on the American economy without a single say from the executive branch nor congress?
Ross Perot got me thinking. I started to see how poorly he was treated despite having good ideas. The media made fun of his accent. The media wouldn't cover him. It opened my eyes. Ron Paul took it to the next level for me. I read one of his books. I realized that the same damn thing that happened to Perot was happening to Ron Paul. It's when I started to see the media and our election system for it really is - a 1 party system run by the deep state with the help of the media to ensure they always have the right president in place. When DJT came along it was the perfect storm.
I give credit to Ross Perot and Ron Paul for blazing a path for GEOTUS.
Forgive me, but I hadn't swallowed the red pill yet in 2012. I remember Ron Paul's presidential bids in both 2008 & 2012. Please 'splain how Ron Paul was right.
They used to call Paul an isolationist for wanting to bring jobs home and stop foreign aid. He preached and preached about being reliant on foreign powers, but very few listened. He also ran on bringing the troops home.
Ron Paul was the last person I voted for, and I cannot wait to vote for Trump in November.
The media and Republicans (including Sean Hannity) laughed at Paul and didn't take him seriously. Now Sean can't gurgle enough Trump cock to show how much he supports no wars and fair trade. Faggot is a grifter.
What the Republicans did to Ron Paul and Herman Cain is why I'll never trust the party.
I was a libertarian at the time so I was pretty opposed to isolationism, but I supported Ron Paul because he was the most libertarian candidate even though I disagreed with some of his international policies. Now I see he was right about those too.
I supported Ron Paul, to bad the GOP wanted Romney. Oh well, at least we have Trump. Trump wouldn't stand for being railroaded like Ron Paul. Everyone was mad, still mad if you look at the reaction to Trump's daily briefing, at Trump attacking the media. I learned since 2016, Trump knows what he is doing.
Yup. Wrote him in. Love RP and he is/was right on so many things. But unfortunately, being a sweet natured Christian man of small stature, he was not taken seriously. DJT, on the other hand, is big and bad-ass and exactly who we need at this time in history.
Proud to say I made up for my Obama vote in '08 by voting for this great man in '12. Looking back, the Obama administration couldn't have been any worse or better than a McCain or Romney administration. Same Deep State Department, different puppets.
I knew Ron was different kind of candidate in 2012 and I couldn't pin down exactly why, but mostly I picked up on a sense of... honesty?
RP is great but implementing some of his more extreme libertarian ideas is difficult. I supposed Trump as a path towards more of a RP oriented country.
It would be for a year and that payroll tax break would be fantastic. The half of the country that actually pays would invest either in stocks, real estate, or business for economic stimulation and to the benefit of others.
Ron Paul really vindicated what I've felt for many years before - that our government isn't for the people anymore. It's for oligarchs, globalists, and self serving corrupt career politicians getting rich of the back of the middle class. Donald Trump vindicated my feeling that we, as a country, were getting fed up with it.
I'm not a Republican, although I more right than center - I'm a patriot. Fuck the uniparty and the GOP's controlled opposition.
I love Ron.i feel he turned me in the right direction in a time when I wasn't quite sure what it meant to be conservative and was tired of seeing Republicans kowtow to bullying from the left. My only problem with Ron is that he just lacked the charisma that was needed to get people to rally to him. Luckily we finally got that in 2016.
I like to say Ron Paul made me a conservative and Donald Trump made me Republican.
This is exactly my situation. Funny how things work out.
Ron Paul woke me up to MSM's power
I was always a conservative
But republican... There's maybe 5 republicans that I trust. The rest are swamp.
We need a new political party!
I tell people i'm a right leaning libertarian or a libertarian leaning conservative. I never say I'm a republican. I don't trust 90% of them.

It's been a wild ride! You made it Pede, congrats!
Similar story.
I switched to Independent in 2007 because of Ron Paul and haven't voted for a democrat since.
Hey man me too! Though in 2016 I voted for Gary Johnson still....
Red pill for Trump was officially April 2017 for me and soild official come first meeting with NK.

Ron Paul on war powers
Ron Paul defending life
Ron Paul on Iraq

Ron Paul wont get fanfare.
But his labor did help save and restore America - election rigging, media compliance, Mitt and Rove stealing the primary from him - this all paved the way for Trump.

Tom Woods, Bob Murphy, and the Mises Institute are good alternatives.
The Tuttle Twins' book series are good for teaching essential economic ideas
Don't forget the hoover Institute, Cato institute, and the American insitute of economic research I would reccomend
Would love to see Ron join up to oversee the Audit, or End of the Fed in Term 2 baby!
I absolutely love Ron Paul, but he's a very old man now, he did his service, and he's where he's comfortable. I'm good with that and I respect him for it.
Audit the FED!!!!!!!!
If he did what you just said, I'd be all for leaving him in office until he dies.
Freedom from true slavery.
This is a very interesting read if you have the time.

Will never happen, because of who controls the monetary system and subsequently our country
End it.
When did we become pussies and only want to audit it.

Audit? How about abolish? Why should an independent board of 7 unelected governors decide on the American economy without a single say from the executive branch nor congress?
Trump did what Ron couldn't.
Voted Ron Paul in 08 and 12 in primaries.
Team Trump and America, angry and all-in from an election cheat in 2012, would not accept the same again.
We got cheated. Then we won anyway despite the cheat.
America wins when she lives on.
America won.
Yep. Don't blame me, I voted for Ron Paul!

Consistently wrong, weak-spined, evangelical purity-testing cucks.
Dr. Paul still won Iowa, MN, FL until Karl Rove showed up and declared his butt buddy Pierre the winner.
Even Rachel Maddow reported on this, in a now internet scrubbed video.
Like the Richard Dearlove Oxford speech where he says everybody who voluntarily gives up privacy and joins social networks is a damned fool.

MASSIVE Trump fan... would have voted for Ron if won the primary...
Ron Paul libertarian Trump supporter here!
What Trump has taught us is, you've got to win to effect change.

i was a paul bot back in the days too.
rand paul aint like his dad but i think rand comes pretty close to ron paul when it comes to liberty and all.
Huge Paul & Son fan here.

Theres the magic pejorative!
"Extreme"
Ohh sounds scarier than exteme virus hypochondria hysteria which America already accepts.
Bogus argument, imo. Trump isnt dictator in chief and neither is Ron Paul.
Dems would obstruct and ignore him too. American patriots listen and man the meme cannons.
What is right has nothing to do with "extremes".
Ron Paul is awesome, and he was screwed by the media as well. All they did was clown him and give him zero coverage.

I voted for him in 2012. I had to write his name in.
Still remember when we bought those floats and the moneybombs..God bless Dr Ron Paul

Ron Paul 2008!
Anybody who reads Ayn Rand makes me hot.
About giving China "Most Favored Nation" trade status? He not only voted for it, he lobbied for it in Congress.
