Am I the only one who thinks that part of the push toward mass shutdowns such as some states, counties and cities are doing, is designed to make life uncomfortable or worse before the election in hopes of swaying in favor of Joe Biden or whoever it ends up being - and then even if the Wuhan virus remains an active threat suddenly there would be mass lifting of restrictions by these governors, mayors, county executives, etc. the day after the election? I notice it seems to be overwhelmingly Democrat governors, mayors and county executives implementing shelter-in-place orders. Hard to not think there's some sort of election-related purpose to it.

Trump was supposed to work more with government alphabet agencies that would’ve intentionally fucked things up even worse to purposefully make him look worse but instead he tapped the private market and your biggest retail providers and auto manufacturers to deliver aid to people.
