Wrong. This crisis is making Americans much mote receptive to total authoritarian government. I told my brother yesterday that the DOJ is attempting to gain authority to detain any individual indefinitely without a court trial, and he was okay with it.
I am upvoting your comments. Most sensible. We can bristle at the ease with which this transpired, but we would not be where we are had POTUS followed instinct and pulled the plug back when he was tied to the floor by impeachment lilliputians.
I went to the grocery store yesterday and they were only allowing ~50 people in at a time.
They were thrilled at the opportunity to practice social distancing like the TV told them to. At least 50% were wearing latex gloves and/or face masks.
The sheeple can by herded quite easily, apparently.
