Barely approaching one hundreth of one percent in the worst hit countries and people like Newsom and angela merkel are wildly throwing out numbers about 50%+ getting infected. Sure seems like intentionally trying to create panic to me...

This is a WHO resource (no friend of the US, imo), but if these numbers are to be believed, the numbers prove that the US seems to be mitigating the Wuhan Virus more effectively than any of the either a) most affected countries or b) "first-world" nations.
I saw a post from 4chan that speculates the real number in China is between 7-14 million. That is the amount of lost cellphone accounts since November
I have seen the post (and re-posted versions here). There is some evidence to support it too. I guess when you're dealing with a centrally-controlled communist leadership, there shouldn't be much you get for REAL facts.
And, since the major media seems to be taking generous sums of money from CCP, they won't dig into it.
But, something is kooky.
Even by the WHO stats, most of the first world nations (Italy, France Germany, etc) have reported nearly 2/3% to 1% of their overall population is affected (.0067 to .01). China, whoever reports 7/10ths of 1% (0.0007).
Considering it's the epicenter of the virus (if you hadn't heard, it's call the Wuhan Virus or the Chinese Virus), it does seem like those numbers are AWFULLY low.
The US, who has acted quickly and taken decisive action has a lower number of population affected, reporting 5/10ths of a 1% (0.0005).
IF China's numbers were that of, say, Italy, there would be as least 1.5 million dead Chinese already. It's a touch over 81,000.
So, yeah, fuckery seems afoot.
