People need to know that these opinions are out there, and sometimes, they're held by people with "Trump 2020" signs in their yard. Just because you support Trump doesn't mean you are immune to being a brainwashed sheep; likewise, just because you support Trump doesn't mean you can never question anything, ever, that goes on as a result of his Administration acting (or failing to act, or failing to safeguard actions) in a certain way.
Don’t worry too much, if people keep thwarting the rules because it’s a “free country,” we are going to quickly find the country not-so-free when they impose martial law. So it’s public shaming now, or military enforcing laws and curfews. Which do you prefer?
I admit that them arresting people goes a bit far, but breaking up a huge gathering when we’re in the freakin midst of a pandemic quarantine isn’t heavy-handed in my book.
