I got hit with allergies yesterday. Allergies always hits me hard. Stuffy head, some tightness in chest, a little fatigue, a clogged nose, and the occasional cough. It didn't help that I took the wrong allergy relief medicine and that made the fatigue that much worse.

No fever. No shortness of breath. No hacking or wheezing. No sneezing.

I was sent home early yesterday because I told one of my managers that I felt drained, which is partly because they have been working us ragged since this whole thing started.

Be prepared for allergy season, pedes. Spikes of Covid-19 will suddenly happen. The media will go ballistic. More panic will ensue. If you're like me, your gonna be having people pointing at you like Donald Suntherland's character in Invasion of the Body Snatchers any time to blow your nose or cough once to free up some damn drainage.

I've been outside a little every day for the past week. I did some yard work on Saturday. Grass hits me the hardest. I've had allergies my whole life and learned super well to manage them by limiting time to exposure and certain medicines. I'm also not a doctor-runner anyway everytime I get legitimately sick (there are a lot of people that are).

I think it will drive a lot of doctor visits though. I saw a long rant on here a few days ago from a healthcare worker I didn't particularly like but I didn't respond because it really seemed like someone needed to just vent. They were talking about how everyone with the sniffles flooding in thinking they are dying. So, even though the symptoms might not match up well there are loads of people that will storm in thinking they are minutes from the grave because the pollen got to them.
