Never thought I'd see the day when self-described conservatives are griping that Democrats won't pass a massive spending bill no one has had time to read.

Of course the Dems are only blocking it because they want their own pork carved out.

If you haven't I would encourage you to take a look at the bill that was up for vote. https://www.congress.gov/116/bills/s3548/BILLS-116s3548is.pdf

It's not that long and it would have been no problem to have a 1 hour recess for everyone to read it. All of these bailouts are in the form of loans and tax credits it seems. I hate handouts and have not been on board with this free stuff mindset, but I'm not sure loaning taxpayer money to American businesses in all this is a bad investment of our dollars.

My biggest area of concern is really the tax credits and will we have an associated spending cut or some other tax windfall come our way to compensate for it. Otherwise it just becomes more conjured money.
