You can chop off your privates and screw with your bodies natural hormones on the whim of a mental illness but god forbid using a thus far promising drug that has been around for decades.
Chopped off? I thought they used the.....oh wait the shaft is used to make the vagina by turning it inside out, and they chop the balls off, or at least I think. Woke up one morning to some daytime talk show talking about the procedure. The mental scars are still there years later.
Monday: I am a male who is unsuccessful at dating women. I am lonely. I wont work on anything internal, no no.. there must be a quicker and easier way out.
Tuesday: I'll say I'm a trans girl, that will get me attention and a place to belong (puts on a wig with longer hair and dresses like a traditional woman despite gender/sex not having a look..- this one always baffled me)
Wednesday: I'm attracted to women as a woman
Thursday: Women who arent attracted to my girlpenis are phobic haters and I will ruin their lives for not dating me
To liberals, all of the above is normal. But trying out a drug as fast as possible to curb a pandemic, ya, that's wrong to them?
I wonder if I get sick can I just identify as "non-viral" and put on some funny clothes and smear some makeup around my face. They then have to offer me the pills or be a bigot right?
Imagine if we found a cure that was near 100% effective, but was almost certainly lethal if the patient was on hormone therapy. Liberals would certainly complain on the internet even as they took the medicine.
Trump is "defeating" the coronavirus. (An illness which was never as threatening as the media purported.)
The media is now in an impossible position. They either acknowledge Trump's leadership to develop this cure, or they admit that they overhyped the danger, and it wasn't that big of a deal.

If it's solved in the relative short term, this will be HUGE for Trump. First, he'll be largely credited for solving the problem and getting everyone back to work. If he can accomplish this before more of the jobs are gone, even better. Second, we now have the proper motivation to bring the manufacturing of essential products back to the US, so we're not dependent on China, or anywhere else in case of another similar emergency. That will boost the economy and create a lot of jobs in the short term to help fill in any employment gaps that developed as a result of the temporary shutdowns. Better yet, if it happens soon enough, the stimulus packages currently getting stalled in Congress might ultimately not be necessary.
I still think it was/is pretty threatening—keep seeing cases of otherwise healthy 20s-30s year-olds who are winding up in the ICU from this. The freakiest thing about this virus seems to be that there's really no telling how your immune system is going to react to it; in the past the general assumption was always that if you were young and healthy, you could fight off sickness. It's a little unsettling that that's apparently not the case, with this.
All that said, this drug looks very promising and it's so obvious that the MSM/Dems want this crisis to continue, rather than be solved.
This is the "novel" part of the novel coronavirus. No human has any innate immunity to it. If the reports of people recovering, then getting it again, and also having a worse time of it on their repeat bout(s) are true, then that contradicts fundamental thinking in medicine.
It could be those reports are just wrong due to false negative and/or false positives which is always possible but even more likely because lots of testing attempts have had problems. That would simplify this thing greatly.
Trouble is they will use it at this point only as a cure, not enough of the drug to use it as a preventative. I hope though that the elderly will be able to take it as a preventative, although there are still a lot of us hanging around...might not be enough.
Yes, it's a preventative, according to a 2005 study (2 years after SARS1.0) and the CDC knew it worked and they might be liable for a Class Action Law suit.
Agree with everything except the availability of these pills. In the NYC and NJ area Dr's are already prescribing this and have been for a few weeks. Many pharmacies are out of stock.
Hospitals may ave stock, they have been stockpiling since March 1, but overall there is a shortage. The Government has to step in and get pharmaceutical companies to ramp up production.

It's probably good I flew out of there the other day, to ride this out with my family down south...
I have close to 0 hope that a vaccine will be that effective. The virus will evolve quicker than we can develop a vaccine. It's possible that the vaccine will still be somewhat effective on the mutated form, but that effectiveness is likely to be reduced. Perhaps not effective at all for some people.
One Rx that's both preventative and curative is a silver bullet!
there is no use trying to "prevent" for the entire population. A bigger chunk than anyone even realizes is already immune because THEY ALREADY HAD IT and thought it was a regular flu. I do not in the slightest buy that it just appeared in December in China. No way. It's been going around and China stayed silent about it for months. It was here in December, I guarantee it. My kid for example, had a nasty fever in December, it was really high. So much so we took him to his doctor and they tested for strep and influenza. Tests came back negative for both and his doc said "we're going to treat this like the flu" and he recovered in a week.
As far as it being a preventative, are we talking preventative as in it prevents your symptoms from getting worse, if you start taking it as soon as you have an inkling that you may be sick? Or as in, even healthy people should be pumping these pills across the board until the crisis has resolved?
There's no point of this. Just treat people who get sick, make sure tests and treatment are available and keep the sickies home and wash your hands. The weather will warm, the virus will fade and the vaccine will be here by fall.
The virus is sending otherwise-healthy people in their 20s, 30s and 40s to the hospital.
There is some evidence showing that warm weather may not slow down this particular virus. We'll see.
Except the vaccine literally won't be here by the fall. Have you not been paying attention? The earliest that it could possibly be available is a year from now.
If there's a medicine that people can take if they think they might have COVID-19, before officially being tested/diagnosed, why shouldn't they be able to be prescribed it? If it can indeed be used as a preventative. Would potentially keep some people from ending up in the hospital.
I get sick of people harping on the Pharma businesses. Yes, they make money at what they do, and some have been predatory at times. But these are also the companies who are finding new cures, working hard to keep production safe and clean, etc. It's not a sin that they sometimes make a lot of money on a new drug. That's how free enterprise works.
People who bitch about pharma, as you noted, can rightfully have qualms with the business. But the reality is, when you have a chronic condition like I do, you realize, I don't give a shit HOW much the company makes, because they are saving my life.
Only then do you realize, that if the company needs to employs 10s of thousands of scientists, at 100's of thousands per scientist per year, is the cost of a few billion worth it.
Hydrochloroquine! Push this shit far and wide! End this madness now! If WuFlu is curbed by a few pills a day for a week, the chaos stops immediately.
But muh side effects!
You can chop off your privates and screw with your bodies natural hormones on the whim of a mental illness but god forbid using a thus far promising drug that has been around for decades.
Lol
Victims gonna victim
Spread this first hand account from Daniel Dae Kim far and wide. Libtards will listen to one of their beloved sjw actors.

I believe it's the scrotum sack that is used to make the flesh pocket - source: "Faces of Death" I watched in the 80's
Fucking what?
Lmao
Ya that's sad as fuck.
you aint wrong! in fact, you are correct!

No, because their position isn't based on logic.
Eating 40 pounds of it in one sitting will kill you! Orange man bad!
Orange man bad!
Who cares?
ikr
Why can't we have a President who represents crippled trans Muslims?? I'm literally crying right now 😣😣😣

If sane, yes!
If insane, it's back to his tax returns.

Hopefully the new tests they're about to roll-out are pretty reliable.
Sounds a lot like Malaria in that sense...
Sounds a lot like the Chinese intentionally manufactured and unleashed it upon the world.
Trouble is they will use it at this point only as a cure, not enough of the drug to use it as a preventative. I hope though that the elderly will be able to take it as a preventative, although there are still a lot of us hanging around...might not be enough.

We need human data not only test tube data
There are many things that work in test tubes that don’t work in humans
There are many things in mouse testing that don’t work in humans

And fuck Dr. Faucci
Bayer just shipped 3 million doses out and Isreal is sending another 6 million doses to the USA
I have them in stock.
Don't forget the zinc, they work together.
I agree Fuck that Hobbit Fauci.
It's probably good I flew out of there the other day, to ride this out with my family down south...
What did Dr. Faucci do?
It's not lupus
It's neber lewpus
underrated comment
Hell, if that logic works for liberals regarding AIDS, why can't we use it for WuFlu?
treating people who catch it will get us to the warm months when it will dry up, meanwhile vaccine is being fast tracked.
I have close to 0 hope that a vaccine will be that effective. The virus will evolve quicker than we can develop a vaccine. One Rx that's both preventative and curative is a silver bullet!
The non-synthetic version of this medicine is called quinine. Tonic water. Drink Canada Dry.
If the government had production ramped up, like they do with the N95 masks, there would be plenty. Dr. Faucci is standing in the way

People take Hydroxychloroquine before traveling to malaria-infested countries as prevention.
There's no point of this. Just treat people who get sick, make sure tests and treatment are available and keep the sickies home and wash your hands. The weather will warm, the virus will fade and the vaccine will be here by fall.
Everyone needs to calm their tits.

$12 cost of treatment. You think that won't motivate the pharmaceutics to drag this out longer?
