On March 15, Italy has 20,000 cases and 1800 deaths. MR = 9%.

One week later, March 22, Italy has 45,000 cases, and 5400 dead. MR = 12%.

1 week case growth = 2.25 x.

1 week mortality growth = 3x.

New York City was just locked down Friday. Millions rode the subways for weeks before lockdown. Subways are still open.

Cases increased by 25% in one day yesterday in New York. Mortality rate is now 0.75%.

New York: 20,610 active cases. 20,875 total cases. 98.7% cases in NY still open.

Italy: 50,418 active cases. 63,927 total cases. 78% cases open.

Japan's mortality rate: 3.7%. 1,128 cases.

S. Korea mortality rate: 1.2%. 8,961 cases.

S. Korea implemented mass testing almost immediately.

Japan closed down schools almost immediately.

New York did neither.
