Doesn’t matter. People are getting antsy already and we aren’t at day 9 of 15 of the first shutdown. Civil disobedience will occur and people will go to work. If the local governments think they have us on lock they’re sorely mistaken. We are staying hunkered down out of caution and reasonability, not because they ordered it.
I may lose my business over this shit if they extend the shutdown in my area into May. If I have nothing left, I’ll be looking to settle the score and no stimulus package will change that. Imagine millions of angry, hungry, pent up, red-blooded Americans looking to rip it all down. They had better re-evaluate their position because the virus will be the least of the problems if people lose their minds and go postal.
I’m saying, even with a stimulus, the people have almost had enough.
The old system needs to perish. When Americans can’t financially float for 2 weeks when an actual crisis such as this hits, we have become tax slaves and nothing more.
We need to get back to work and halve our tax nut or we will never be in control of our own lives.
