Also, for one of the best (yes, there's Yet ANOTHER One) biographies on Reagan I've ever read - that did NOT sneeringly treat him like some out-of-his-element, doddering fool C-grade actor, etc (HW Brands, 'Dutch'-Edmund Morris, et al) - I cannot recommend highly enough the mighty conservative writer Larry Schweikart's Reagan, the American President from last year. Fantastic book.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. IMO some of the absolute most ferocious conservatives are those who are CONVERTS - such as the mighty Ronald Reagan who saw up close and personal what vile scumbags The Left were in his years battling the commies & the SAG unions in HollyWeird, the smelly hippies at Berserk-ley the GRAVEYARD of Free Speech as governor then the REAL commies. He NEVER relented and an already-faltering from the weight of its own hubris USSR was finally and irrevocably given the Death Blow by Reagan and I think equally John Paul II (Thatcher did the best she could with her limited resources as well). And now we have the stealthy Manhattan-by-way-of-Queens, ultimate outsider Trump who knows where ALL the proverbial bodies are buried and left The Herd of the reptilian-brained DummyCraps and The Mob always has a special, visceral loathing for such individuals - e.g. you can't leave the plantation - EXECUTION! I just sincerely hope that if a conservative (or at the very least a titular 'republican') Oval Office holder should succeed Trump in January 2025 it's not another NWO like The Wimp GHWB.
