Its not different. The issue is to dilute it in water(what they ingested was powder) the concentration of the fish treatment is 275g.....just a tad more than the human dose of 2g

It is also different in the fact that it is not pharmaceutical grade and made in a suitable-for-human-use manner.

Chloroquine is the active ingredient. The phosphate is like the chloride in sodium chloride. Like doctors recommend reducing salt intake. They are concerned with the sodium, not the chloride.

The problem was they overdosed on chloroquine, taking a whole teaspoon each. Many more milligrams than therapeutic dose.

came here to say this - CQ phosphate not really that different, medically, than CQ. and exactly as you point out, it was an OD. same as if you took several grams of tylenol, you'd probably lose a chunk of your liver. also, i'd imagine there are far fewer safety concerns since this was not made in a lab.

Chloroquine phosphate is a medically available alternative to Plaquenil in the for of Aralen. It's chemical properties are entirely different from AQUARIUM CHLOROQUINE PHOSPHATE.

Thanks for that info. Would edit if I could. May delete this post to avoid misleading.

The media scared these people into acting irrationally. At what point is it yelling "fire" in a crowded theater?

All the soy boys and girls downvoting here are aghast. I'd reckon not a one of them ever got near a science class at school, let alone chemistry. Cretins.
