They should. We pay for each of them to have a massive staff. Most of the permanent, experienced staff--even for Republicans--are committed leftists. They've probably got boilerplates for every conceivable leftist wish list.
They probably have a thousand page outline with all this pork laying around, and when something happens, they just run through and add the relevant situational information.
Looking back before my time, I see Reagan. Behind him stand only Coolidge & Harding. I cannot help but to observe that the further time drags us away from our Founding, the greater our numbers seem to dwindle. Now, truly conservative presidents are rare. Anyway, to answer your question, I am partial to silent Cal, but each is great in his own right and distinct way.
You should be lauded for uncovering the truth on Reagan! The left are masters of rhetoric, so the deceit you saw through was as the Devil who speaks with a forked tongue. I learned a lot about Reagan from men who worked with him such as Mark Levin, Peter Robinson and Dinesh D'Souza. I like how Star Wars turned into the Iron Dome that still shelters Israel. I like how he teamed up with Margaret Thatcher and John Paul II to defeat the Evil Empire and win the Cold War. And I especially like how he brought back Andrew Mellon's tRiCkLE doWn EcOnOmICs (such a misnomer) because Arthur Laffer, Milton Friedman, and ESPECIALLY Frank Chodorov were RIGHT!
I wrote this as an angry response on facebook, but decided not to post it there. (Since I had no idea who the hell the person I was about to respond to was.)
Remember this is a bipartisan bill. The republicans did not write this bill, both parties worked together to create a bill they all agreed on, they spent days in negotiation over every detail. Then, at the very last minute, all of that work was overturned. The new bill was written solely by Dem lawyers, in SECRET, and brought into Washington at the last minute, as nothing more than leverage in a political play for power.
The "counter proposal" added:
-Mandatory mail in voting for federal elections (permanently)
-Required same day voter registration
-Legalized the corrupt practice of ballet harvesting (currently illegal in nearly every democracy on the planet)
-Provisions on official time for union collective bargaining
-Airline carbon emissions limits
-Greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights
-Retirement plans for community newspaper employees
-Federal $15 minimum wage
-Permanent paid leave
-Regulations on Solar Panels
-Abortion funding
-35 million dollars for a single art museum.
-$300,000,000 dollars to the media
-More money for refugees than for homeless and veterans together
What does any of that have to do with a virus?
The bill is to serve one purpose: To offset a two week gap in pay for Americans. Not to turn America into the Corrupt Soviet Union overnight.
Yeah my dad called me a little shit for trying to explain this.
Also somehow it makes me a wuflu denier?
Dude it's absurd how people's brains get so twisted when they're plugged into Rachel Maddow and the like. They honestly deserve an award, just a shitty one
Send him the actual bill. Ask him to circle which parts need to become law today to help us overcome the coronavirus impact on the economy. Ask him what part of Nancy Pelosi's bill that he supports.
I posted about it on Facebook today as well, but more of a grumbling. It was something along the lines of "I don't need 1k because I still go to work every day, but I know people who do. I hope people are watching these dems and the shit they are trying to pull."
The response was basically that both sides are at fault for playing politics, and the democrats are legitimate in countering the bill. One cuck told me I drank the "far right koolaid". Yeah ok bud. Keep your fine print socialism.
The response was basically that both sides are at fault for playing politics
This is the same NPC response I was about to reply too, which is why I started with explaining the bipartisan part.
If it had actually been someone I knew, I would have focused on that. That's the key fact these people aren't aware of. They think this is a republican bill, and therefore the dems were right to shoot it down. They are oblivious to the fact the same dems who voted against it helped write it.
Among $600 million budget for "arts and humanities", they included shit about lowering carbon fuel emissions from commercial airplanes by 2050 lmao. Doesn't sound like they're taking this current crisis very seriously if they're concerned about airline travel thirty fucking years from now.
I think this was all pre-planned. The week which the other democrats were "negotiating" with the senate republicans, they knew that at the end, they were going to say no when Nancy comes in. This way, they wanted to do maximum damage. It was all pre-planned. Nancy couldn't have written a 1400 page bill over night.
Yep: dire poverty; oppression; tyranny; enslavement; destruction; and death. IOW, the usual plan of the ruling scum, executed in almost all places at all times over all people. The last time it got out of hand, God drowned 'em. He said next time, He'll use fire. Don't want to be here for that.
And that's why "We" keep losing all the time. They've got everything already prepared and written out so that at anytime something happens they can bring out Bill 823r.sdas.138493 Part II of IX to address whatever issue they need taken care of.
In the meanwhile "We" just sit there thinking that the Constitution is all the Legislation we need. NO! We need to start prewriting all sorts of goofy shit that THEY will then have to fight over later on after it gets passed instead of putting forth their own agenda. Make them fight OUR Stuff from now on. Pass all sorts of goofy shit so that THEY will be forced to go after it and then "compromise" on this or that and then we can give them Goofball Law XVII.26 in exchange. They'll have to burn thru dozens of things while we give them softball laws in exchange. We could tie them up for 100 years if we win in November and just pass as much stuff as possible. Make it nice and quiet like too. No loud Crowing in Victory from the rooftops to rub it in. Just pass it and move on to the next thing. No fanfare. Business like and cold blooded.
How did a 1,200-1,400 page law document appear overnight? It's a K-Street construction, that's why. Our representatives and Senators have the laws made already for them; the lobbyists and party bosses sell it to the politicians, who in turn have the career job of selling these constructs to us as for our interests.
We need to index this with a plagiarism tool and run it against any other bills the House Dems introduce to see when they try to sneak these provisions in later.
Big pharma and some other high profit industries have enormous staffs of lawyers and policy wonks working full time to write enormous modular chunks of legislation that can be combined like LawLegos to create gigantic, incomprehensible bills that erode our rights and/or the economy.
they have a whole staff of people and assistants to write bills.
you really think Nancy is actually writing bills in her office alone ?....haha , dont be a fool -DON TRUMP
It isn’t difficult to cut and paste when your orders are to include every policy Democrats want and could never get passed in Congress unless millions of lives were used as leverage.
They have a 'Bill' for everything on computer....
They should. We pay for each of them to have a massive staff. Most of the permanent, experienced staff--even for Republicans--are committed leftists. They've probably got boilerplates for every conceivable leftist wish list.
Patriot Act anyone?
They probably have a thousand page outline with all this pork laying around, and when something happens, they just run through and add the relevant situational information.
he did last night it was great
| Democrats have plans for you.
Reminds me of how Ronald Reagan observed, "the more the plans fail, the more the planners plan."

Who has been the greatest President in the past century?
Ahh, I just wanted to hear you say Trump! He is phenomenal!

I've never listened to the whole speech thanks I needed that.

I call them evil, because they are evil.
Well written with facts. No liberal will believe it.
Yeah my dad called me a little shit for trying to explain this.

Well written. Thank you for compiling a master list. Can I copy and paste this in a few places please?

I bet if you can get a Paladin from D&D to use Smite Evil on the Democrats, it'll be super effective!
Why no Medicare for all?
just like they pull out mail-in votes....
They found a box of China Virus bailout bills in Broward County.
Among $600 million budget for "arts and humanities", they included shit about lowering carbon fuel emissions from commercial airplanes by 2050 lmao. Doesn't sound like they're taking this current crisis very seriously if they're concerned about airline travel thirty fucking years from now.
The world is ending in 12 years so WTF?
That's a lot of paper to rip in half.
Might want to pre-rip some of it just in case.

They just grabbed a few reams of their "green new deal" disaster.
Printed just in time for the toilet paper crisis.
What hilarious is... the House won’t come back to work because China Virus.
No quorum. No roll call vote.
Only way to pass anything there is by unanimous consent. If one GOPer shows up to say Nay... the bill is DOA.
Just like how they created Obamacare document.
Some days I'd welcome it.
The fire is coming. Oh yes. The fire is coming.
Bill Ayers has been busy.
She borrowed a document from the bartender and did liberal cut and paste.

CTRL-C CTRL-V
I’m sure they have proposals ready to take political advantage of any crisis. The left are opportunistic ghouls.
A 16 year plan to name it exactly. The Hilzebub was never suppose to lose so the dems are trying to speed up destruction.

Congress doesn't write laws. They sell them.

It’s the democratic primer.
Vote the bitches out.
If they get their way, you will never be able to. That's their hope.
Then we'll have to water the tree of liberty.

#PelosisOrifice should be a trendy thing right about now
Eww lad! Thanks Chuck
Extortion is a time-consuming enterprise.
yep... was wondering the same thing!!
Barry used to have a fellow in prison writing legislation.
Robert Creamer?
Pelosi would have plenty of MS-13 members giving her policy ideas, plus Soros and the UN would be sending their demands for Pelosi to implement.
