Future Nobel Prize in medicine winner Dr. Didier Raoult in Marseille, France came up with this treatment regimin.

And fuck the CDC. They've known it was effective SINCE 2005. BUT THERE'S NO MONEY IN IT. So they wanted a vaccine for their Big Pharma buddies instead:

But the story gets more extraordinary still. It turns out that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has known since at least 2005 that chloroquine is effective against coronaviruses.

In 2005, Martin J Vincent et al published a study in Virology Journal titled ‘Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.’

THEY KNEW. THEY KNEW.

Their reason for existing seems to be researching gun violence and scratching pharma's back now. Retribution must be swift.

Ahem

This is a new coronavirus. it did not exist in 2005. Coronavirus is a BIG family of viruses, and there is no way to automatically assume that one drug will work against another.

NIH had the information about this drug at its website when I went to look, early in this story. What was not so clear is HOW TO USE IT.

Dr. Raoult pointed out good results with a triple combination, Hydroxychloroquine sulfate, Zinc and Azythromycin. He deserves a lot of credit for the combination.

This line in the article

In 2005, Martin J Vincent et al published a study in Virology Journal titled ‘Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.’

tells me that somebody did a study and liked a drug, once. I could pay off my mortgage, if I had a dollar for every drug I've read about that is a "potent inhibitor" of such-and-such. That phrase, "potent inhibitor" gets written about every drug that gets a good in vitro (test tube) result. And the vast majority of them eventually crap out.

Chloroquine did, too. But Dr. Raoult took one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, combined it with two other drugs, and got very good results in a small study. This was a major accomplishment.

It is not a new coronavirus. It is closely related to the same SARS that fucked China up several years ago. China lets this shit happen so it kills off their older population, who they claim no longer contribute to society. What a fucking communist utopia.

11
StunLikeAnAntelope 11 points ago +12 / -1

It is a new coronavirus. COVID-19. COronaVIrusDisease-2019, i.e., it is novel beginning in the year 2019.

For real? South Korea has had some of the best recovery rates. Everyone should be looking to what they are doing. If they are using this, everyone should.

I fucking KNEW there was something else behind all this shit. The deep state globalists are using this to gain more control over everyone, and shooting down ideas that work. They don't give a shit about people.

26
DrCowboyPresident 26 points ago +26 / -0

Ahem,

The drug appears to be effective in attacking it. So why didn't they leap on this research? Why is WHO shitting on it instead of being proactive?

Why didn't they CTRL-F search, find this research, and consider it?

Do you seriously trust these globalist fucks? This is a fucking pandemic. They should be rifling through all their research and looking at what they should test. But all they have is concerns and worrying.

That phrase, "potent inhibitor" gets written about every drug that gets a good in vitro (test tube) result. And the vast majority of them eventually crap out.

How many of those are a well known drug in use for over 2 decades?

4
MW23232 4 points ago +4 / -0

That man and his wife ate the fish bowl cleaner because it said "chloroquine phosphate" was in it and they thought it was close enough. It is obviously not the same thing. Just because a word was the same means nothing. It probably said not for human consumption right on the container somewhere, too. It is sad, but that was insane, because you can just call a pharmacist and ask them if something is the same as something else, or poisonous, or if two drugs you are taking will cause a problem if you mix them together, and the pharmacist knows and will tell you right over the phone. Why these people did not do even that was a mistake that killed the husband, and easily could have been avoided.

Here's why I think Belleoffreedom is right and why the comments attacking this poster on this premise are myopic:

SARS-CoV-2 has furin cleavage sites on its S-proteins, which is different from other SARS viruses. This is convergent evolution that is seen in other viruses including Ebola and HIV. As far as I can find (being a layperson but being stupid enough to waste time reading through medical journals), this is unique among the coronaviruses thusfar.

I assume the reason for our caution is because it's different enough from others that it isn't established whether or not hydroxychloroquine treatment would work. Here is a good preprint explaining some of its lineage, though I think this information is undoubtedly out of date.

Dr. Raoult deserves a lot of this credit for pushing ahead where others just shrugged, presuming previous treatment efforts may not work. In fact, I would go so far as to suggest he deserves all of it.

Now, there are problems with his study and some questions including why the control group wasn't tested at various stages, but I think much of this could be explained away by the fact this was less a study and more a matter of "people are dying, we have to try something that we think may work." Hopefully the FDA study will come up with positive results in the next 14 days.

I have a very close friend who manages a drug abuse treatment facility, and they are about to go underwater because the government suddenly told them they were out of money and can't pay what they promised,

No relief in sight.

It's almost like they're evil. Weird!

4
SordidPontification 4 points ago +4 / -0

And fuck the CDC. They've known it was effective SINCE 2005. BUT THERE'S NO MONEY IN IT

I used to think this was bullshit on the premise that SARS-CoV-2 may be different enough from other coronaviruses to where an abundance of caution was taken with regards to known treatments for others.

...but judging by the absolute onslaught of doctors STILL turning political and suggesting GEOTUS' advice is "dangerous" as of March 24th, I'm starting to think otherwise.

(Most recently from this jackass who has previously posted informative videos but decided to make this one unnecessarily political--but the comments largely shit on him, which is funny.)

Anyway, while I don't agree with u/DrCowboyPresident that it's a matter of there being no money in it, I do think the underlying premise holds some truth. Firstly, there is still money to be made from generic drugs and others. (Chloroquine--not hydroxychloroquine--is incredibly expensive, so beware anyone pushing that as a solution as it's more dangerous.)

My personal pet theory? They ("they" being the Democrats, Never Trumpers, Chinese, et al) literally want Americans to die in the hopes that it will greatly harm Trump's bid for reelection.

Let me say this again: THE LEFT AND THEIR ILK DESPERATELY WANT MILLIONS OF AMERICANS TO DIE TO FURTHER THEIR AGENDA.

If they can achieve this by scaremongering over hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin, they will.

Grow up and chill out. French people, Europeans in general, smell like ass compared to Americans. They just do not have as good of personal hygiene. So sorry. I lived in England for 5 years it was gross. Ome time the water went out for three days and no one else cared about it, we bitched to the company about not being able to shower. Their response? "You Americans and your showers..."

They've been killing doctors over the past couple of years. Seriously, there have been a lot of unusual deaths of chiropractors and anyone with an alternative approach to health.
