As someone in CA, I think this is highly misleading and inaccurate. Where are the drug needles? Why is his beard so small? That shopping cart still has all its wheels? He isn’t even yelling at the sky, and looks like he actually has somewhere he’s going. You haven’t captured the depths of what that part of the population is like out here.
Living out here has taught me that belts should be sized for the knees. I’ve seen people driving around like that on 6’ golden tricycles too. There are a lot of people here I hope get Corona.

Half naked? You must live in fancy town. We get plenty of full naked ones out here. We also have one guy that just lives outside collecting garbage on a high traffic public street. The cops tell him to move and they take his literal trash every few months as it begins to fester, then he moves about a block and starts all over again. When I say trash I mean trash too. Old empty pizza boxes, candy bar wrappers without anything left in them, someone else’s old crutches, he had a bike for a few days before another hobo stole it. He’s still there during all this. Saw another hobo arguing with him and telling him “GO AWAY. JUST SHUT UP AND GO AWAY YOU CRAZY IDIOT. GO AWAY!” You know you’re king crazy of the hobos when the other hobos call you crazy.
Everybody that meets real homeless people like where I’m at immediately losing all sympathy for them. I’m sure some people get down on their luck, but there are infinite programs to help them immediately. Most hobos in CA are either vagrant folks that are homeless by choice and just hang around bumming wifi and electricity to listen to music and watch movies all day, or mentally ill people that don’t want to be put in a psyche ward. There’s no helping that. Any time we say we’re going to help them, more just migrate here. They have their own cities. They steal things. Having large roving groups of crazy dangerous people with nothing to lose isn’t good for everyone else.
