Last week, I was put to some pretty intense (for me, that is) file management that involved opening three windows and dragging files around so they's be arranged right. Also, some opening of documents and minor changes. I have WIN 10 and a fairly decent 64 bit system and Intel i7.
Do you think I could get those windows to stay put? Resizing? There's about 1/8" band on top of the window to grab with the cursor to resize. It's the same color as the top bar. They jumped all over the place. I spent half my time forcing the windows back where they belonged. I've already had the experience of shuffling files of less than 500 Mb around and damn near taking out the system. The poor CPU. I thought I was going to blow something.
All I could think is MSFT doesn't use their own product for office work, only for internet surveillance and user tracking. For office work, it's still Win 3.0. I'm told they took the code from Apple in the first place. I mean, it is sad. And then parade around the world like some kind of genius, when the money comes from strong arm tactics.
