What were Apple and Facebook doing with all those masks anyway? And why did they decide to pitch in shortly after Barr said they were gonna go after hoarders? Weird
Ton of people asked this yesterday and I did some research into it. Apparently the silicon valley companies got them last year when the California fires broke out.

There's a catch somewhere. Is there built-in obsolescence after so many hours it slows down and you must upgrade? And where the FUCK do you get 9 MILLION N95 masks? Did they pull them out of /spez's ass?
It's not built-in obsolescence, it's just the nature of filtration devices. Eventually, they stop working as well as you need them to. Same with water filters and coffee filters and anything else that filters. So if you're a facility that uses masks, it makes sense that you'd have a lot of them.

They will take them from the chinese children in their factories. (you wear masks in factories to keep your spittle off the delicate electronicals)
THIS! Apple stocks masks for the production of their goods.
