I am a life-long Republican and he's a Bernie bro. We live in LA so I'm definitely in the minority here. I am SO frustrated with his regurgitated excuses for the Democrats' behavior, and blocking the Coronavirus aid bill just took the cake. We've been dating 6 months and haven't had a single fight, but today I flipped out at him because he just spits out headlines and doesn't actually know what the fuck he's talking about. I literally read the news and listen to podcasts and YouTube ALL day about politics! Most of my friends here are liberal so I read "their side" of the argument all over Facebook. I just can't. CANNOT. Understand their views. Ugh. I love this dude but I told him if he defends their actions yesterday I'm not sure I could see past it. He then changed his tune and told me he'd vote Independent. Lol well better than the alternative....
