Obvious honey pot to identify right wing users and have their opinions flagged. I can't wait to see how this is abused by the admins on the back end. Editing results, weighting particular users, flagging people with certain opinions. We already saw them playing around with banning people that clicked an upvote on something they didn't like, yet didn't remove. This will be a streamlined version of that.
Bingo. Even if that's not the main point of it you know damn well it'll be used as confirmation bias and a fantastic extra way to track people beyond the means they already have..... It's a data gold mine, which is the same reason every other platform does it and why I'm surprised reddit is just starting...
