We pretty much need an outsider who has the same views as us and the same DGAF attitude about political repercussions as Trump. That is a rarity. Finding a lawyer outside of the government who is not entrenced and has loose connections with everyone in the political system is practically impossle.

Honestly, I like Barr. Very well spoken and intelligent. But he does have a lifelong career and has made many friends on both sides in that time.
