I, like OUR PRESIDENT and most of you, are hopeful about hydroxychloroquine. But I also think we should be cautious of not over-hyping the evidence. Many studies underway, and this one found disappointing results. (www.zjujournals.com)

I know that this is from a Chinese university and medical journal, so maybe it is suspect. But I am waiting for high-quality trials from Korea and the US before I get fully behind hydroxychloroquine. Yes, we should give it to patients who ask. But I don't think there is enough evidence to start widespread dosing.
