Woah, look at how hard the left is pushing raising the minimum wage now.

I don't think anyone is saying it's not important to have grocery stores running.

Am I the only one finding this absolutely insane?

I work in a supermarket in commiefornia myself, and ever since the 15th us employees have gotten a 2 dollar raise that's going to last until this crisis is over. Meanwhile, I've heard the people who work at Walmart and Target got a 300 dollar bonus themselves.

Plus the company is collectively kissing our ass! We've been getting free pizza and donuts in the break room regularly, allowed to wear jeans if we want too, and this week employees get a special thing were if you spend 25 dollars or more on groceries, you get 25 dollars off. How sweet it is!

Might I recommend you learn more computer work. Part of my job is teaching illiterate lazy gangsters how to use computers. Since they refuse to apply themselves for the most part, they remain at the $16 level.

Can you send an email with complete sentences? Can you open, edit and save a spreadsheet?

That would put you at $20/hr. It goes up quite a bit from there depending on what you know.

Thanks but I already got a sweet job already working in the meat department, and am working on hopefully getting to become a meat cutter one day. A meat cutter can make the same as a department manager, but without all the responsibility, and its my financial security for the future!

The $15/hr sounds good in theory but it puts a strain on everyone else. First an employer is going to lay-off workers to cut labor costs and go up on prices. In the end more are unemployed and prices have increased. That’s another reason the left want it...more unemployment. More people the government can manipulate.

Grocery chains are hiring 100s of thousands of new staff right now.

They'll be all laid off in a couple months.

Yeah no. Don't fuck with it now. Businesses are already hit hard, now they want to raise their cost?...stupid. if they abolshed the payroll tax then companies could afford to raise wages.
