There it is. Those prices will drop so fast.

Not only will the costs drop, but the fat will be trimmed from the administration and courses. There would no longer be a 100 deep bench of diversity officers and useless majors at every school.

And allow any privately issued loans (NO FEDERAL BACKING!) to be dis-chargeable in bankruptcy. Let the market work to moderate college costs; your local loan officer is going to want to know how you're going to pay back the cost of that gender studies degree, or how you're going to pay back the cost of that masters in sociology from Columbia by helping poor people sign up for food stamps.

The president of Harvard, and his wife, have both tested positive for Covid -19.

Didn't a Harvard professor get arrested recently? Something about his Chinese assistants smuggling biological samples out of the country, I think.

my guy is a chef. his first comment was, that's a contract job (he works for a corp. that does this, and is the exec chef out at the car plant). but lo and behold, it isn't. and then he looked at their menus, (meal ticket is $6k+/year) and there's no beef or pork anywhere on the menu, and everything is flavored w/ either garlic or lemon. lots of tofu, hummus, etc. he said it was one of the most boring menus he'd ever seen.

It's a common scheme in residence halls. Spectacular menus when the parents visit with prospective students. Get them all signed up on the most expensive meal plans, then switch to hot gruel for the rest of the year. Most students will end up eating cheap bulk cereal and muffins three times a day. Don't blame food service though. The administration steals all their excess cash.
