Trump signed a trade deal, so he may be limited on what he can say in public. We on the other hand are free to make that negative market signal and drive negative public opinion as much as we can. Especially when it comes to the post-quarantine shopping, if we don't purchase as much Chinese goods that will be a harsh result for them. They already most had a hollowed out Q1, now if the factories still cannot resume full capacity, that commercial debt will be increasing hard to carry. Remember this is a process, no one needs to get to 100%, but even a reduction for say, 20% translates into some hard hits for them, and you can always with a little more discipline push that number higher. The point is to each do our best to exert economic pain on China.
