Orthodox Jewish community has the U.S. figured out pretty well, and have used our system to strip money from local governments in some hilarious ways. For example: couple living together not legally marrying in order for the woman to file for state benefits as a single mother; listing the home address as a house of worship to get exempt from paying taxes; voting in a block to stop funding public education since their kids don't go and they don't want to pay for education of everyone elses kids. And they have been able to overwhelm (at the ballot box) the low turnout, small towns, they make their homes in.
Anyway, religious liberty is for realz in this country. Maybe a little too free, but rather that than having the state tell you to wax someones balls or your kids won't get an education.
