Your suggestion to uproot my life to move into her district is the equivalent of telling the colonists "if you don't like taxation without representation, just leave America and move to England!"

Grass roots campaigning is all well and good and it certainly can be effective. But protest is also a method, one that is protected by the Constitution.

As speaker of the house, Nancy has a duty to serve not just her constituents, but the entire Nation. She is failing miserably. It may be time to go beyond simple grass roots campaigning.

Your comparison isn't equivalent. I'm saying that if you want to actually change something then it'll take sacrifice and action. What you are saying in your taxation example is to run away. I'm telling you to go to the problem and support the change to fix it.

True. Based on past movements and protests they are often most effective in exposing people to an issue, however they seldom change the hearts of people at the top.
