Way under 10% of docs are members and most of them are medical students who get free membership and know no better. Most of us docs oppose the AMA. The AMA is a leftist organization which makes its money by licensing lists of procedures to government bureaucrats. They promoted and supported Obamacare. We docs for the most part detest the AMA. All they do is kiss ass to leftists in an attempt to falsely portray that we physicians support the left.
