My wife is in the Army Reserve as a nurse.

We’ve already done 2 deployments in the past 3 years. She’s done 3 or 4 deployments in the last 4 years. I’ve never known any reservist to be called up so much. So many reservists are never deployed at all.

Anyhow, her medical unit says she needs to be ready and “green” having everything prepared to be mobilized/deployed. Likely she’d be taken to New York or some US Coronavirus hotspot.

We have a 1 year old and I work in healthcare too.

I just don’t know how I’d manage if she is called up. She only works 2 days a week right now and I work 4.... we are scheduled so someone is always home with our son.
