Someone gets "R bad, D good" engrained in their head from an early age and it's difficult to change. It's too bad that people feel like their party is their IDENTITY. Lots of psychological stuff to unpack regarding that topic.
I think that perhaps the greatest crime is a party system. I mean, there should only be one party and that party is America. Am I wrong? Instead we have a Congress and a Senate that basically just vote along party lines. In reality it SHOULD just be a bunch of individuals voting with their heart.
