What absolute heros our government is. Saving me with my own money. God bless these people. I can only hope they gave huge grants to their pet projects that will guarantee themselves a “board” position after they leave office. Theyve earned it.

Suspending income tax, or cutting taxes in half for those who don't receive a check would have been nice in order to allow people to build up their emergency funds if they're still working.

It's cool, this one-time check for 1000 per adult that doesn't cover everyone in the US cost us like half of our yearly budget. It would be totally logical to expand this to every citizen and make it happen monthly.
