As of 7am EST today (3/26), we are seeing 95 deaths in NY yesterday (3/25) vs 114 the day prior (3/24). Yesterday was the first full day hydroxychloroquine and z-pack was administered in NY.

That study consisted of to small a sample and only tested one ingredient.
The original doctor suggested anti-biotics to prevent secondary infection and I presume reduce the immune systems load in general plus zync in combination with hydroxychloroquine.
Also the timing would allow a certain number of patients to get well normally without intervention, making it look like the medicine was no improvement.
It is easy to take a regular flu death and count it as a CV death.
Or even deaths by "other causes" of positive COVID-19 patients.
Until the double secret random clinical tests are complete, some poor souls will be receiving sugar pills instead of the real treatment.
Are they doing the same “placebo” tests with the ventilators for China virus patients?
They are all getting the real deal.
Well that's good news! LOL, Congress better pass their porkfest quickly or Trump's going to beat this virus himself. If the worst is behind us and we can get back to work next week there won't be any need for a $2tt rescue package and he'll look like the only one with any sense (and a great leader) because he pushed for the regimen when they all stood against him.
This is the single most important statistic - the change in deaths day-to-day in the "ground zero" area.
I've been watching the US death numbers (I know, sounds ghoulish, but this is in reality a numbers game) very closely. Washington State has been somewhat level and California seems to follow suit. NY has been alarming.
I have been hopeful that treatment would very quickly show up in this number, maybe this is enough indication that we are turning the corner.

Yeah, it's honestly a huge victory if the deaths just stay flatish for a few days considering the new cases were skyrocketing.
