This is the single most important statistic - the change in deaths day-to-day in the "ground zero" area.
I've been watching the US death numbers (I know, sounds ghoulish, but this is in reality a numbers game) very closely. Washington State has been somewhat level and California seems to follow suit. NY has been alarming.
I have been hopeful that treatment would very quickly show up in this number, maybe this is enough indication that we are turning the corner.

Yeah, it's honestly a huge victory if the deaths just stay flatish for a few days considering the new cases were skyrocketing.
