Nothing more boring than someone complaining about the site (because it's rather fab). But anyone else click into a post and then when clicking back to the main page, it drops you off in the middle of BFE?

I just clicked a post on the New page that was about 20 minutes old. Read it, learned it, lived it, loved it. When I hit the back button, it dropped me off in the midst of posts that were 5 hours old.

I feel like I'm missing posts and is rather frustrating. Sorry for the rant, but am looking for anything that I can do. cheers

I think it might be auto-reloading the page on return? Experiencing same thing.

Thanks, I have been doing that also, however, I would like to see a way around that.

You can select to open posts in a new tab in the settings. Then you do not lose your place.

Alright fakeredditnameguy.....that works! I hate having to close a tab everytime I open a post, but it is less frustrating than being dropped off in the middle of nowhere. Cheers!

Through these updates I have happened upon a very satisfying method of consuming .win material.

I set it to open links in new tabs, use infinite scrolling, and I do not autoexpand.

As I go down the page, I upvote some just based on headline, click to expand images or text anything I am interested in, I open the post in a new tab if I want to read in detail, and I click "hide" on everything I have either read or do not want to read. This works well for infinite scrolling.

I don't lose anything I want to read because it is open in a new tab, then I just close it when I am done.

This works really well for me on desktop.

On mobile, I use the webwrapper app developed by a pede and I do the same as above except I don't open in a new tab, I just go back.

I like this site experience a whole lot better than Reddit, or RES, or any app I ever tried.

I used to autoexpand but I like being able to more quickly go through posts and upvote or hide.

Go in your settings, have it open posts in a new tab. problem solved.. until they figure out how to fix it on the site.

This has been happening to me, too. I keep having to reselect New.
