That's because we're (NJ) flooded with Foreigners, the majority of which are illegals. They're everywhere and they all began showing up around 8 years ago during the Obama administration. Just POOF! Overnight we had them all over the place. Kids can't get jobs because of them. Even "Ethnic" restaurants fire their staff and replace them with the illegals because they're WAYYYY Cheaper and for some, like Indians and Pakistani's, they're used to having an "underclass" for them to Lord over and Abuse. It's natural to them since it's part of their Culture so they don't think twice about it and neither do the majority of the illegals who come from nations/cultures where the Underclass is completely used to and conditioned from birth to be subservient.
Our country is being stolen from us and we are being replaced with a new population who, unlike us, believes in a strict Class Structure and no upward mobility. They're trying to take us back to the old Social System. You know, the one we fought wars to abolish here in this country. Guess all that "Progress" was for nothing huh?

I am surprised that numbers are lot lower in California than I expected.

NY has people living on top of one another, with a wide array of people from around the globe with many International flights. If you take a look at the spread from NY, you can watch the first NJ infections being identified in the areas surrounding NY, with many people commuting into NY from NJ.
What is pissing me off is that NYers knew that a quarantine was imminent so they fled the city, infecting many locations like the Hamptons, resort communities in NJ and Florida. In my resort community town, the first infections were NYers and now our number of infected is climbing.
I think we're a few weeks from a peak and when it happens the Country will open up relatively quickly.
We need to isolate NY like it were Wuhan.
Hell, I’d build the wall around NYC anyway.

NY has a subway system. Many NY workers live closely by in NJ and use the subway system.
