Can someone explain this, I'm not American. If you don't have a social security number you're not a US citizen correct? What's an ITIN?

It's how illegal immigrants claim the Earned Income Tax Credit for having anchor babies.

They aren't "illegal immigrants", they're illegal aliens. They aren't immigrating here. They're here illegally and all need to be deported immediately.

An ITIN serves as a tax identification number for foreign nationals who are immigrants to the United States. Foreign nationals must pay taxes on income earned while working in the U.S.

Which is a priviledge in an of itself. If they don't like paying taxes they can fuck right off back to their home countries.

The other part of it is that if they pass e-verify, even if you know 99% are frauds, there's no risk like you said to not reporting them. But report a Jose or Gonzalez as an illegal when he's actually a citizen and you'll lose a lawsuit and get tons of bad PR.

You know I really have a problem with this. It’s a perfect example of problem, reaction, solution. It should not be required to check with the government to be aloud to work. Unless you think that’s the one thing the government abuse.
