It'd be hard for me to stand ramrod straight for hours at a time, but I definitely respect what they do it for: honoring the fallen. Aside from having to periodically yell at the occasional loudmouth visitor or intrusive selfie-taker who crosses the ropes, they are never within 30' or so of a visitor. They should be fine.
