FYI: Can Confirm. I ordered Medical Masks back in early February as a precaution. Didn't realize they were coming from China. Order got delayed 3 times. Just got them on Tuesday. 50 days to receive order.
Is this surprising? For as much blame as China deserves for this crisis, which is just about all of it, you can't blame them for buying equipment they needed when things were worst there. You can however blame these other countries for being dumb enough to allow themselves to be cleaned out.

All you have to do is pitch Trump on a win-win deal, and if it’s sound, he usually goes for it. Yeah, China was taking America for a ride and they were going to take a bit of a hit in trade negotiations, but that could have been handled so much more smoothly. Look at Japan. They admitted they were taking America for a ride and moved on to focus on win-win deals with Trump. China could have worked with America and situated themselves as the world’s second superpower for the 21st century. They could have gradually modernized and brought their people into first world status. They could have presented themselves as a fair and reliable trading and manufacturing partner on the world stage.
But Xi blew all this and instead brought upon the Chinese Race this, The Great Shame of China, the CoronaVirus Pandemic. Now they associated their country’s brand with disease and poison. Now anything they make is automatically contaminated in the eyes of the world. That’s not branding you just casually walk away from. Then they intentionally cover up the problem so that it spreads all over the world, which is likely an international violation of human rights and may end up with Xi publicly tried and executed for crimes against humanity. What a dumb Pooh Bear this guy is. Plus all these dirty moves are just making China and the Chinese People look like two-faced little rat bastards. Trump was so willing to meet these guys face to face as honest men, but Xi just couldn’t do it I guess.
