Thankfully our drug regulation agency has since made hydroxychloroquine prescription-only, so our drugstores should slowly fill up on it again. Z pak (azithromycin), being an antibiotic, was already prescription-only before the hysteria, so it's still generally available everywhere.
We'll probably be fine.
Also, we'll have a large sample size to further study Chinese Virus treatment, which may not be the case where doctors are in fact being cockblocked.

I honestly wish we had the same perspective right now. In the first days and weeks, we didn't know much about this new coronavirus and now we do. We know that hydroxychlorine and a Z-Pak are effective treatments. We know it's much less lethal than originally thought. We're much more conscious of washing hands and social distancing. It's not as bad as we initially thought it was. However, Dems are doing their best to make it much worse by denying effective treatment and trying to collapse the economy. It's time for some sense and for some moderate voices to speak up.
This is the common sense approach we should all be clamoring for... if we could get from under these oppressive shelter in place orders.
My County in Texas just issued a shelter in place effective at Midnight tonight until mid-April. I sent a email to the County Judge and state rep asking why issue a order now when we have been following guidelines within the county.
When GEOTUS wanted to lift restrictions and get us back to work. Why now?
