YEAH. HE'S RIGHT!

All we need to do is go back to work. People will get sick as they normall do and summer will extinguish this flu virus as it always does.

The mortality statistics you are seeing are crapola. The actual mortality rate will be around .125 once this is in the rearview.

Couldn’t agree more.

Godspeed Mr Massie

500,000 die from the flu every year.

How do you get back to work when your GOV shut down the whole state, dumbass?

Chew_Monster 19 points ago +20 / -1

You should try to communicate your points without attacking who you are disagreeing with. Makes you appear much more intelligent.

The point being made, that the state and fed should reopen business, like this moment, and stop this shelter in place bullshit.

The point being made, that the state and fed should reopen business, like this moment, and stop this shelter in place bullshit.

That is where the real problem is going to be. Cuomo and Newsome, among others, aren't going to reopen their states when Trump wants. As of right now its nearly impossible to tell which states will and which won't reopen, even "conservative" governors are starting to cuck down. As of right now the alternative is a potential 50% unemployment in some areas.

Massie would have a great point if he provided an alternative solution.

I can’t disagree with any of that... dem governors are going to milk the tits right off this cow.

The small business loan portion of this is good. I think we’d be just fine with that.

It’s so fucking frustrating that we have to keep playing these games with our politicians. Maybe your right and this is the only way out, good or bad. I just can’t help but feel that every bit of this is self inflicted, which makes another tax payer funded bailout ever harder to swallow.

This will make the 3rd President in a row to have bailed “the economy” out. Pretty soon we gotta change something.

Likewise I agree with most everything you just said.

I'm not a fan of most of the bill myself, and honestly feel like more of it could have been allocated to the small business loans and less to individuals and corporations. I also agree that with GEOTUS now being the third president in a row to pass an economic bailout, something has to change.

POTUS is using central banks tools in fighting them.

Printer go brrr don't matter if in term 2 he kills the fed and transitions us off fiat.

Get money to people now, or businesses will fold and massive unemployment with massive unemployment benefits

You get the same shit effect

This way you can stabilize them and give them time to recover

Embarrassing how socialist this place has become just because Trump said it's okay.

RlzJohnnyM [S] -17 points ago +2 / -19

GO FUCK YOURSELF

3.3 M APPLIED FOR UNEMPLOYMENT LAST WEEK

HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE SHOULD LOSE THEIR JOBS?

17
_Cabal_ 17 points ago +19 / -2

None should have lost their jobs in the first place. Government created a problem, and now you're begging for government to fix it through socialism. It's pathetic. And your bold, caps letters only betray your irrationality.

-17
RlzJohnnyM [S] -17 points ago +3 / -20

THIS IS NOT SOCIALISM, THIS IS MANDATED SHUTDOWN

THEY HAVE LOST THEIR JOBS THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN

FUCK OFF SHILL AND I WILL WRITE AS BOLD AS I WANT BECAUSE I CAN!

I actually don't think we need this much money. Unless the Trump admin is trying to make the Federal Reserve bust. Fuck it.... Go pedal to the metal and make the Fed print more money until that shit is worthless. Get rid of the Federal Reserve and start a new monetary system.

So either give us 17k or let us go back to work.. easy enough

Massie would have more credibility if he proposed a serious alternative plan that did not result in 50% unemployment, loss of many if not most American companies, and a decade of ashes.

Show us your alternative plan, Massie. Leaders have a plan, not just an objection.

My daughters business (spa) was forced to close and she needs a loan badly or will lose everything, and can’t get it until this damn bill passes.

Yes it’s filled with garbage but that’s the built in cost of doing business with the Dems. Fuck off with this grandstanding shit.

This is a perfect example of how the government breaks your legs, and then hands you a crutch (a crutch you paid for with tax dollars, or with debt you will have to pay in the future.)

3
BodyPartsAndParcel 3 points ago +3 / -0

Dems are a huge problem, but so are all the shitty Republicans in Congress as well. Corruption and fucking over average Americans is a bi partisan issue

2
Coopster 2 points ago +2 / -0

it's only the cost of doing business because WE agree to the cost and get NOTHING back for it.

This guy's math is all off.

We have closer to 327 million citizens. Is he rounding up for 23 million illegal aliens?

Why isn't he pointing out a family of 4 wouldn't get anywhere near $68,000 in benefit? By his figure we could give each citizen $1,700 in benefit for 10% of the cost. I hope he makes this point somewhere in his objection.
