It CAN be transmitted by air, but the US did not have enough masks to go around, so we were lied to. That’s OK, it was a crisis, and you can see how people selfishly hoard everything in sight.

We (hopefully) will have enough masks by the fall flu season (the warmer weather should be slowing this virus to a crawl very shortly). And everyone should be wearing masks in the fall into a vaccine is available.

I have been covering my face when out since this week. That said there are many cases where the family members did not get infected which leads me to think it is not as easy to catch as some illnesses. Another that is not as easy to catch is TB, that is one reason it took researchers so long to figure out what was happening. The host has to have a weakened immune system for some reason. With Covid 19 this worries me since as Americans so many have lifestyle induced risk factors from poor diet, lack of sleep and lack of exercise. Many kids are in so many activities they barely sleep. Others never move. This makes people vulnerable. Last winter two kids at the same local school died of the flu. I can't imagine at that age that they were super healthy. A niece of my husband wound up in the hospital with flu a few years ago. They eat total junk and don't get enough sleep. They are super fit so they think if they are thin and strong they are healthy. This is just not so.
