Trish was right, Trish did nothing wrong. This entire thing has been weaponized against Trump. Shutting down the entire economy over something no more deadly than the flu.
I think her comments were inappropriate, but definitely not a firing offense, especially given what Fox puts up with from some of their other "talent", including Tucker Carlson, whose lie-filled rants ran against Trish in the same time slot.
Fox was very reasonably trying to refrain from stoking political divisiveness surrounding the pandemic, and Regan definitely did that. And I'm sure all the program hosts had been instructed in advance to avoid that sort of commentary. Fox is trying to be the go-to source for pandemic information, running 24/7 coverage on FNC, and drawing viewers away from CNN and MSNBC. That's a good business strategy, and very pro-Trump with the general election just 7 months away.

What was inappropriate about her comments?

I do not think so.
Tucker Carlson doesn’t lie anymore then the rest of them. Fuck off with that!
