150k is about worth 70k when you live in NYC. It goes along way for the wife and I. Also leaving this shit hole today, should have never moved here.

Why do people move to liberal cities? Please explain. I'm from CA and hate this state. I will probably die without ever owning a home. I can't wait until I save enough to buy a house in cash in another state

I lived in Los Angeles for 4 years in a tiny one bedroom apartment with like, 500 other people smashed on top of me. Now I live in TN. Still have illegals, but at least I can have a house with a yard and some goddamn breathing room. You can get a decent 3 bedroom here for about $200K.
