But it doesn't "end" those things. I think you're right to be suspicious and concerned, but these haven't ended. We're in an extraordinary situation. It's only been two weeks. Even if it ends up being two months...that's really a blip on the radar. If they're still doing this stuff when the virus threat has passed, I'll be right here with you, but as of yet, I think it's a little premature to be talking about the total collapse of the American way.

Just a little violation of your rights is fine. Got it. I'll be over to steal your shit shortly.

Alright, calm down there Ron Paul. You know, I have a right I be in my back yard, but if the cops were chasing a perp through the neighborhood and told me to stay inside, I wouldn’t be like “f you pig, I’m barbecuing!” It’s not the end of the world.

I'm honored; he's a true hero. If the cops are chasing an invisible cold virus, fine, but I don't think it's unreasonable to question whether they're actually implementing the end of liberty.

I have a dollar bill that I carry around that I got him to sign. I'm also a fan, and so I meant it as a kind of badge of honor/elbow in the ribs. Look, in truth, stuff like this gives me pause, too. If it were anyone else, I'd be more critical. But Trump has a lot of trust built up with me, and I do feel like this is an extraordinary situation. I don't think it's out of order to raise the question. It ought to make everyone at least a little uncomfortable.
