I'm pretty sure single moms get money even if the dad doesn't pay. Not to mention if they play their cards right they are looking at $20,000 in tax returns. Here in TN they can get them free healthcare if they make little enough. Plenty of single moms live better than people realize

They don't receive notice in prison. The woman picks a random name and address, and the guy is assigned fatherhood without knowing a claim was ever made.

They are talking about welfare. Welfare payments are added onto child support debt.
Not to mention all the food benefits.
