Fuck that. Quarantine the State borders. Can't separate the tri-state metro area, it's all basically NYC.

I know the rural areas of NJ well. I sympathize, but there's simply no other way of doing it. Lock it down. Many live in those areas and commute to the city. Equally impossible to stop the spread throughout CT. Locking down its border to RI has apparently already started. Look at the numbers for MA and obviously they've made no attempt to do this at their border with CT. Will it spread just as bad through VT NH and ME? Hopefully the low population density means no. Hope is not a strategy.

It's not cruel and unusual punishment to be confined within NJ State lines. Lots of area to enjoy! Have a heart. The rest of the Country needs you to be responsible. Spring breakers from your area have already brought it to FL, and from there it made it to my County in WI. We have 30+ cases in my County, whereas most WI Counties are still 0. The second most number of cases is WI Counties with 1-4.

These numbers hold true from here all the way to the left coast. Just a few population centers that have more. For example Iowa has 0 dead. 6 Counties with 5 or more infected people.

Stop spreading it! Give us time to get these people better. Let's beat this, please.

No one is commuting from Cumberland or Salem Counties into NYC to work. We're south of Philadelphia.

Sure. And I have no idea how many from there commute into the metro Philly area. Surely allowances will be made for interstate commuters, but that's also a major vector for spreading this highly contagious disease.

Locking down State lines is the only sensible thing to do. There's no other way to contain the Nation's #1 hotspot which still has 1/2 the cases in the whole Country.
