This is literally to prevent people from New York, New Jersey and Connecticut from going to Florida.

He shouldn't have tweeted that. It's only going to cause more people to leave before he issues the quarantine.

No, he's one upping the governors in those states in the panic level. Entire point of doing this is to get them to argue against it.

It's the same way he blew cuomo the fuck out over the ventilators.

Cuomo was forced to admit that they have more than enough available today, but his requests are to cover the (supposed) demand weeks from now.

Trump wasn't disagreeing that they need more ventilators. But to go from 2, not literally 2 but it draws a comparison, to 30,000-40,000. It is a pretty huge increase. I think if he asked for 3,000-4,000 trump wouldn't have sai what he said. Cause 30,000-40,000 could cover multiple states.

I didn't see where Cuomo admitted they have enough ventilators. Glad my state has restrictions in place for people coming from places like NY. They are enforcing a two week quarantine on anyone coming in from sates like that.

“I think that’s a fair question, and I think that if you talk to experts, Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx and others, the models in many cases are way off. New York City, we actually have people on the ground who have told us that there are 1,000 ventilators sitting in a warehouse right now that haven’t been used.

You heard Governor Cuomo yesterday say, ‘Look, we actually have resources, they’re just mismatched.’ And so, we sent a team, a FEMA team to help New York City make sure the resources are getting to where they need. I talked to people in western New York who said they’re furloughing nurses in hospitals in western New York state while people in New York City are suffering. We need to make sure we get the right resources to the right people. And that’s what we’re committed to doing.”
