Why tf did it take so damn long for the governors/mayors of those states to act? I know the obvious answer is “Democrat,” but these are people’s lives. I live in a state where the governor Took early action, and while we are certainly not in the clear, we seem to be holding steady.
It’s in my state, but my governor took action weeks ago and it’s not nearly as bad as other states. I mean, the numbers are going to rise, especially since we have more tests now, but we’re in nowhere near as bad a shape as the northeast.
Spez: also, I’m not wishing anything bad on others. If it get to the point that my state has to self-quarantine, then so be it. We already have a shelter in place order, and for good reason. People weren’t listening to the President, Governor, and CDC’s guidelines. I’m a healthcare provider and am on the front lines in this thing. We have to do what’s best for everyone in the country.
