I had it, and it was more than a cough. I don't usually get sick, but this past Christmas, me, my sister, and dad all got it on same day from another family member.
Shit was a sick temp, the chills and sweats were pretty damn bad (worse that I've had before) but I stuck it out with nyquil and bumming around in bed.
3-4 days and temp broke and the worst was over, though it did take 10-14 or so for the sore through and body aches to totally clear.
I think I and others around me got it a few months ago, too. Headaches, chest was heavy, chills, fever, body aches, couldn't leave bed. Two days, it broke, done. Others got it rapidly... 🤷🏻♂️
Quite sure. I happen to personally know a couple of people infected by it. (Friends of coworkers).
Both are in good shape, they likened it to a flu with a wicked cough.
