This shit is absolutely fucking ridiculous. Americans aren't going to stand for this shit for much longer. I have been more understanding than most people have about all this.. at least it seems that way to me. But when they're shutting down playgrounds that are basically in the middle of nowhere over the fucking china plague.... come the fuck on. This is some fucking bullshit. I mean come on I'm just some midwest housewife who so far isn't affected by this financially, and I'm still sitting here RAGING mad. I cannot imagine what those who are really MOST affected by this right now must be feeling.
My only worry with that is this: How many cucked officials across the land will still hold onto their premature "lockdowns" that they created, school shutdowns, park shutdowns, etc...
I feel certain that many will basically refuse to admit they were overzealous... and hold on to their ridiculous mandates that they created, lasting a month or more out.
Agree. Parts of Texas have no hospitalized cases.
I hope so. I haven't been out of the house for a month.
Your kids go to a playground, other kids go to the same playground, one of them picks up the virus and transmits it to your whole family, RIP Granny.
I'm not sure what you think, but considering that Cuomo has already been caught in Puerto Rico like lies about supplies not being there... I'm not sure what we can trust out of NY.
Look at this video. I know NYC is urban, but their spread is COMPLETELY out of line with any other places in the US, even other very urban areas. Something seems off. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNzuFT7ayxQ&feature=emb_title
There are also videos surfacing from Europe where someone who was "dead" from the virus was then seen walking around later on.
NYC has a million people a day ride the subways and trains. For hours at a time.
It would be shocking it NY's spread wasn't this.
Eh... I thought that before... but Cuomo is a snake. Notice how he freaked out about keeping NY people in NY. But IF the numbers they're reporting are accurate, that's the only sane thing to do.
NYC invented the concept of “Chinatown”
Yeah, RIP from the flu. Granny should quarantine herself during flu season.
If you're RAGING mad because your kids can't play on a playground and you had to hike instead, you should be posting in Reddit on the /firstworldproblems sub.
If this is your biggest problem in life you should get out of the midwest more.
Maybe be grateful you have the luxury of spending all day with your kids and being able to go to a state park with them instead of bitching about not having everything you want when you want it. God has a way of giving us experiences that make us grateful.
I'm reading your post in my head imagining the words over AOC's video yesterday.
Are your arms flailing up and down too? lol
On another note, they shut the playgrounds down because of people who would all bring their kids to the playground and slobber on the monkey bars and each other. There is no state in the midwest that's not going to have people die. So what if your kids only pass the virus on to you and you get a little fever?
Maybe another kid gets it and passes it on to his 80-year old grandmother and she dies next week.
But hey, you got to spend an hour with your kids runing around on the playground while you were checking Facebook and IG on your phone so it's all good.
I hope you feel better. Praying and sending love to you and your kids. And your husband.
Not reading that shit. Fuck you. Yeah I live in America. The best nation on earth. Yeah I'm pissed my kids couldn't go to the playground. If you don't understand that, and live in America, you should just fucking leave. Asshat.
That's a lot of negativity and hatred that we do not need on here.
Why are you mad, because your kids can't go to a damn playground lol.
and on cue a snarky response missing the point. the point is it's not just parks but basic little things people do are disrupted. all aspects of life are and it cant just go on forever. people are trying to cope but after a while you just cant take it. people, especially in America are used to coming and going as they please and not good at dealing long term with someone telling them no. Blizzard? Natural disaster? sure. hunker down a day, 2, 3 and then all clear, start picking up the pieces of any and get back to life. Americans dont know how to deal with something like this and keep getting more and more worried about the outcome the more negative news people keep putting out. that we havent even begun to turn the corner on this crisis. only hope we have is where they have used Chloroquine it's worked. but keep hearing reports of "curve still going up", "we havent peaked yet" and talks of more restrictions and hundreds more cases and deaths. after a while it just gets to you no matter how hard you try to keep cool. people living where theybarent currently under quarantine dont seem to get that
Take a breath.
The more you resist what is, the more stressed out you're going to be.
Focus on what you CAN control. What you watch on television. How you spend your time. What you focus on.
Don't ask yourself unanswerable questions. That's just going to stress you out too.
Um, yes, that's why I'm mad... because it's ridiculous. "lol"
Just curious, didn't you used to be I Am H.T.?
Yes. I was also this name, and I think this name as a singular. reddit banned the other two which was how I ended up as IAM HT
Glad you're back!
thanks :)
I work next to a park. There was nobody there this week. Maybe because the equipment is metal.
On another note, my state has stopped people from going to certain hiking areas because they’re too crowded. Now, I live a rural area. I just walk down my road. If someone else is walking, we,just stay on our own side of the road.
She's a millennial housewife, that's why.
I'm an American who understands when we're being fleeced and lied to: that's why. dumbshit.
