Notice what it took for the good guy not to go to jail:
multiple forms of physical evidence he was in fact attacked. Woman bruised. Car damaged. Tommy probably also had at least bruises that would show up in a photograph.
Multiple witnesses. Older couple, not just Tommy's family.
What if the good guy hadn't allowed any damage to anyone including himself? He'd be arrested for successfully defending himself.
US is no better. And, just a random saying: dead men tell no tales.
So it takes TONS of evidence for a hero not to be convicted. Make reversing this a goal for the second term, please DJT?
